Time now for Today's Liberty Flames Minute! Brought to you by Select Bank for this Tuesday, March 4, 2025, I'm Nick Pierce.
Starting with softball – the Lady Flames go for their fifth straight win today when No. 22 Liberty hosts James Madison. First pitch is set for 4 p.m. in Lynchburg. The game was originally scheduled for Wednesday but moved to today due to storms forecasted for Wednesday. Liberty is 16-4 and JMU is 6-8 on the year. Today's game is on ESPN+.
On to baseball – the Flames wrap up a five game road trip today as Liberty visits Campbell. First pitch is at five o'clock in Buies Creek, N.C. The Flames are 2-2 on the current road trip. Campbell is 4-7 on the year and coming off a series loss at home to Georgia Southern. You can hear today's game on the Liberty Flames mobile app and www.LibertyFlames.com.
And Liberty lacrosse midfielder Katie Colavito is the Atlantic Sun Offensive Player of the Week. Colavito had a career-high 10 points and tied a career-high with six goals in last week's win against High Point.
