Time now for Today's Liberty Flames Minute! Brought to you by Select Bank for this Tuesday, August 27, 2024, I'm Nick Pierce.
Beginning with men's soccer from Monday night – in Farmville, Va., Liberty and Longwood finish in a 2-2 tie. Twice down a goal in the first half, the Flames rallied for equalizers – the first coming from Luke Eberle to tie the game at one in the 16th minute. Down 2-1, the Flames tied it again with a goal from Michael Huss in the 20th minute. Next, Liberty will host Georgia State on Sunday at two o'clock.
The Liberty Football Show with Head Coach Jamey Chadwell is back on the air tonight. Hosted by Alan York, the show goes live at 6 p.m. Eastern on location at Mellow Mushroom in Lynchburg. We're now just four days away from kickoff! Liberty will host Campbell this Saturday at 6 p.m. inside Williams Stadium in Lynchburg. The game is also on ESPN+ and on the Radio at 88.3 FM in Lynchburg.
