This is your Liberty Flames Minute! Brought to you by Select Bank for this Tuesday, August 22, 2023, I'm Nick Pierce.
The fall season for Lady Flames tennis begins in less than a month and Monday Liberty released it's upcoming schedule for the fall and spring. Liberty will host three tournaments this fall, including the ITA Atlantic Regional in October. Three ranked opponents from last year appear on the schedule, including CUSA member Louisiana Tech. Class is back in session on the Liberty campus and that also means several fall sports are already getting back in action. Coming up Thursday night in men's soccer, Liberty will open the season by hosting Saint Peter's at seven o'clock. On Friday, the Lady Flames field hockey club will host Kent State at 7 p.m. and the Liberty volleyball team will host Bucknell at 6 p.m.
And we're now just 11 days away from Flames football. Liberty opens the season at home against Bowling Green on Saturday, September 2nd.
