Time now for Today's Liberty Flames Minute! Brought to you by Select Bank for this Thursday, September 5, 2024, I'm Nick Pierce.
Flames volleyball returns to the court tonight as Liberty takes on Navy at 7 p.m. in Annapolis, Md. The Lady Flames are 1-1 after picking up their first win last Saturday over Akron. Tonight's game is the first of three for Liberty in Annapolis, with games also scheduled against Cornell on Friday and UC San Diego on Saturday. You can see tonight's match on ESPN+.
On to women's soccer – Liberty looks to stay unbeaten tonight when it travels to No. 21 Virginia Tech. Game time between the 6-0 Lady Flames and Hokies is at 7:30 and you can see it on ACC Network Extra. Virginia Tech is also unbeaten at 5-0-1. Liberty is receiving votes in the top 25.
And we're just two days away from kickoff and the Conference USA opener for Flames football. Liberty will visit New Mexico State on Saturday night at 10:30 Eastern. The game will be televised on ESPN2.
