After a breakout performance last week, Flames football wide receiver Reese Smith is hoping for an encore when he and the Flames visit Appalachian State this Saturday. Smith is the Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week after catching six passes for 80 yards and three touchdowns against East Carolina.
"Feels awesome - I mean, the thing that's probably eating me up the most is I should've had four. I hate dropping a ball, I mean, it gives me nightmares just thinking about it but, it was a great game, great team win. It was a great confidence booster for the team and we're ready to roll this week."

Back at home, the Liberty men's tennis team is hosting the Liberty Dual, on campus Friday through Sunday. Other participating teams include Virginia, Navy, Old Dominion, William & Mary and others.
