Flames basketball returns home tonight as Liberty's men try to get their first Conference USA win against FIU. Tip-off's set for seven o'clock at Liberty Arena in Lynchburg. Flames guard Kaden Metheny on the difficulty of winning in CUSA.
"Every team can beat every team. Like, there's no game where you're looking on the schedule and you go, 'Oh, that's one we should definitely get.' It's a really competitive league and also, the athleticism and the length is very comparable to the MAC. Like, there's some Power Five athletes out there on the court that just might not be able to shoot as well or that case but these teams are really good. But we know we're good enough as well."
Also tonight, the Lady Flames are looking for back-to-back Conference USA wins when Liberty visits FIU. That game also tips off at seven o'clock in Miami.
