Time now for Today's Liberty Flames Minute! Brought to you by Select Bank for this Thursday, December 28, 2023, I'm Nick Pierce.
The Flames have landed in Phoenix! Late Wednesday night, the Liberty football team arrived at Fiesta Bowl week after some weather delays pushed travel back a bit. Now, 23rd-ranked Liberty turns it's sights to preparing for eighth-ranked Oregon in the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl on Monday. Follow @LibertyFootball and @LFSNRadio on social media for updates on the Flames Fiesta Bowl experience, reports from Phoenix, press conference clips and more.
On the docket for Thursday, several Flames players and offensive coordinator Willy Korn will meet with the media. Then, the team will practice at the Los Angeles Angels facility in Tempe before wrapping up the day with an elegant team dinner out on the town.
Meanwhile, back in Lynchburg, don't forget to check out Lady Flames basketball at Liberty Arena. Tomorrow night, Liberty will host Randolph at seven o'clock. Then on Sunday, the Lady Flames will host the Tennessee Lady Vols at 2 p.m.
