Time now for Today's Liberty Flames Minute! Brought to you by Select Bank for this Monday, October 30, 2023, I'm Nick Pierce.
The Lady Flames soccer team wraps up the regular season with a win on the road. Sunday, Liberty rolled past Louisiana Tech, 4-1 – giving the Lady Flames the No. 2 seed and a first-round bye in the upcoming Conference USA tournament. The Lady Flames will face the either Western Kentucky or Louisiana Tech in the semifinals on Friday.
Both the Flames men's and women's cross country teams take runner-up finishes at the CUSA Championships on Saturday. Liberty's men had eight all-conference honorees for the first time and the Lady Flames had four.
The Flames' golf team finishes third at the Ka'anapali Classic Collegiate in Hawai'i. Saturday, Liberty finished the event at 39-under.
And it's game week for Flames football! Liberty will host Louisiana Tech this Saturday on Homecoming weekend! Kickoff's set for 6 p.m. at Williams Stadium in Lynchburg.
