Flames baseball center fielder Kane Kepley is off to a strong start this summer in the Coastal Plain League. Kepley is playing with the High Point-Thomasville Hi-Toms and so far is hitting .328 with two homers in 16 games. Recently, Kepley dropped by the Liberty Flames Podcast to talk about his goals with the Hi-Toms.
"Me and Coach (Scott) Jackson – our big thing (for me) was getting ABs and trying to get stronger, you know. I've definitely done both of those things. I'm still working on it, trying to expand my game a little bit, I guess, the two home runs are playing into that. But I still want to hit the ball in gaps and be able to use my speed."
