Time now for Today's Liberty Flames Minute! Brought to you by Select Bank for this Friday, October 18, 2024, I'm Nick Pierce.
Starting with men's soccer – Liberty shuts out Eastern Illinois for an Ohio Valley win. Thursday night in Lynchburg, the Flames downed the Panthers, 2-0. Luke Eberle and Gabe Findley took care of the scoring and goalkeeper Owen Moore had three saves. Liberty will host Southern Indiana on Sunday at one Eastern.
The Lady Flames are set to play their final road game of the season on Saturday when Liberty visits Western Kentucky for a Conference USA clash. Liberty is unbeaten in it's last four conference games. Saturday's game time is at 7 p.m. Eastern. You can see it on ESPN+.
Flames volleyball is back at home this weekend for a pair of Conference USA matches. Liberty will host Middle Tennessee tonight at 6 p.m. Eastern and on Saturday at one. The Lady Flames are 10-8 and look to stay unbeaten at home in league play. Admission this weekend is free.
