As the Flames look to make it back-to-back Conference USA football titles in 2024, they'll have a new opponent in the conference this fall. Kennesaw state joins CUSA for it's first season in FBS. Conference commissioner Judy MacLeod on what the Wwls bring to CUSA.
"I don't know if people realize Kennesaw is really a jewel that has unlimited potential. Over 45,000 students outside of Atlanta and quite frankly until we got in to this process, I didn't realize what a great place that is and the potential they have. So, we're really excited to bring them into the league. It's a great story. They only started football not too long ago. Their coach has over a 70% winning record."
Liberty will play at Kennesaw State on October 23rd.
And we're now just 36 days away from Flames football! Liberty hosts Campbell on August 31st.
