Time now for Today's Liberty Flames Minute! Brought to you by Select Bank for this Friday, January 12, 2024, I'm Nick Pierce.
The Lady Flames swimming & diving team picks up a conference win on the road. Thursday, Liberty downed Gardner-Webb in a dual meet. The Lady Flames won 11 individual events and the 200 free relay. Liberty's divers will compete against East Carolina today and Saturday at the Liberty Natatorium. The Lady Flames swimmers will visit Campbell on Saturday.
Also, on Saturday, the Lady Flames basketball team returns home looking for it's first Conference USA win. Liberty will host Louisiana Tech at one o'clock Eastern at Liberty Arena in Lynchburg.
And Liberty's men are also looking for their first CUSA win on Sunday when the Flames visit Louisiana Tech. Tip-off's set for 3 p.m. Eastern. The Flames are 0-2 in the league while the Bulldogs are 0-1. Sunday's game is on ESPN2. You can also hear Flames and Lady Flames basketball this weekend on www.LibertyFlames.com and the mobile app.
