Liberty Athletics and Abich Financial Announce Field Logo Partnership at Williams Stadium

Liberty Athletics extended its partnership with Abich Financial Services with the firm's logo being added to the Williams Stadium playing surface for the 2026 season.

In February, Liberty Athletics and Abich Financial Services started the partnership by displaying the logo on the field at Worthington Field at Liberty Baseball Stadium.

The Flames would go on to tie a program record with 43 wins in 2026, including a 19-12 home record, and would advance to an NCAA Regional final.

The Abich Financial logo will be positioned in between the 20 and 30 yard lines at Williams Stadium and opposite the sides of the field where the Conference USA logo is displayed.

The partnership, brokered by Van Wagner, carries special meaning. Abich Financial founder Abe Abich was a former Liberty Flames student-athlete as a member of the baseball team in 1998.

Abich made 10 appearances on the mound for the Flames during the 1998 season. The right-handed pitcher helped Liberty post a 32-29 record, capture the 1998 Big South champion and make an appearance in an NCAA Regional in Tallahassee, Fla.
