Otts Named CUSA Offensive Player of the Week

LYNCHBURG, Va. – After posting sensational offensive statistics this past week, Liberty senior outside hitter Jenna Otts has been named Conference USA (CUSA) Offensive Player of the Week.
A native of Saint Johns, Fla., Otts becomes the first Lady Flame to be named CUSA Offensive Player of the Week in back-to-back years. Otts received CUSA Offensive Player of the Week honors on Sept. 29, 2025.
Otts helped Liberty to a 3-1 record last week, including Liberty's first sweep at Radford since 2008. The Lady Flames also went 2-1 at the Hofstra Invitational against a group of teams which went a combined 66-19 last year.
For the week, she averaged 4.27 kills per set at a .307 pace, reaching double figures in kills in all four matches.
She scored 15 kills at a .519 clip in a 3-0 sweep of Radford on Tuesday. Otts fought off three set points with kills during the second set, which Liberty won, 28-26.
On Friday, she tied for the match-high with 11 kills in a 3-0 setback to Army. The Lady Flames then bounced back with a reverse sweep against tournament host Hofstra. For the match, Otts scored a career-high 24 kills while hitting .298. She was the first Lady Flame to score 20 or more kills in a match this season. She took over during set five. After trailing 4-3, Otts scored five kills during a 10-0 Lady Flames rally. She sent down Liberty's final two kills of the match, giving her seven fifth-set kills and the Lady Flames the 15-6 win.
Taking on 2025 MAAC champion Fairfield on Saturday, Otts scored a match-high 14 kills, hitting .225 as the Lady Flames rally to win in four sets over the Stags.
The Lady Flames (6-4) will play each of their next four matches at home, beginning with a pair of contests against North Alabama Thursday (6 p.m.) and Friday (5 p.m.) at Liberty Arena.
