Walk-On Tryout Information

Liberty Athletics Walk-On Tryout Information

The Liberty men's and women's cross country program will hold walk-on tryouts on Aug. 28 at 8:15 a.m. at the CVU Soccer Club Facility (5635 Campbell Hwy, Lynchburg, VA 24501).

The tryout will consist of a 5K time trial over grass and gravel. Please wear appropriate attire and running shoes.

Students interested in trying out for the team must visit the "Liberty Athletics Walk-On Tryout Information" link at the top of this page and complete all of the necessary requirements listed.

All necessary paperwork must be completed and turned in to team athletic trainer Barry Finke prior to trying out. Finke's office is located on the track level of the Liberty Indoor Track Complex.

Additionally, students who plan to try out must contact the appropriate coach prior to the tryout.
