LYNCHBURG, Va. - Liberty hit a season-best .440 in a 3-0 (25-8, 25-13, 25-15) sweep over Louisiana Tech in both teams' CUSA opener, Friday at Liberty Arena.
The Lady Flames (13-1, 1-0 CUSA) pushed their winning streak to nine matches, continuing their best start to a season in program history. The Bulldogs fall to 7-8, 0-1 in conference play with the loss.

- Liberty outhit LA Tech .440-.041 for the match, with the Lady Flames leading 40-21 in kills, 8-0 in aces, 32-25 in digs and 6-2 in blocks.
- Jenna Otts scored a match-high 13 kills at a .500 pace, while Paige Overcash hit .643 with nine kills and Laney Daniell totaled five blocks. Alison Bierwagen registered 20 assists and a match-high four aces. Zoe Hall served up a career-high three aces, while Carly O'Brien posted seven kills and a match-high eight digs.
