- Liberty (5-1) and Bradley (3-4) will square off in the third place game of the ESPN Events Invitational. Both teams are 1-1 on the week. The Flames fell 72-69 to Towson in Tuesday's semifinals, their first loss of the year. The Braves lost 87-77 to UC San Diego.
- Kaden Metheny paced four Flames in double figures with 16 points and four threes. JJ Harper (14 points, seven rebounds), Brett Decker Jr. (13 points, five rebounds) and Zach Cleveland (12 points, eight rebounds, seven assists) also reached double figures.
- Metheny (973 points at Liberty) is 27 points from 1,000 for his Flames career. He has exactly 1,600 career points in his six-year college career.
