Liberty tied with Western Kentucky for the most selections on the magazine's preseason all-conference team listing.
Sam Houston followed with 17 selections, while FIU (14) and Jacksonville State (13) headlined the next tier of teams with the most picks on the all-conference squad.
The Flames placed seven players on the preseason all-conference first team, led by returning CUSA MVP quarterback Kaidon Salter.
Salter was the 2023 HERO Sports Group of Five National Player of the Year after throwing for 2,876 yards and 32 touchdowns, while rushing for 1,089 yards and 12 additional scores.
Joining Salter on the first team were Quinton Cooley (RB), Treon Sibley (WR), Jordan White (OL), Jay Hardy (DL), CJ Bazile (DL) and Brylan Green (S).
During its first season as a member of Conference USA, Liberty posted an unblemished 8-0 league record and a 13-0 overall mark that earned the Flames a spot in the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl against No. 8 Oregon.
The Flames second-team all-conference selections include Billy Lucas (RB), Xavior Gray (OL), TJ Bush (DL), Teylor Jackson (LB), Quinton Reese (S).
