- Liberty and St. Andrews meet for the second time ever on the hardwood and second time in as many seasons. The Flames earned a 99-26 win over St. Andrews on Dec. 16, 2023 in Liberty Arena. It was Liberty Head Coach Ritchie McKay's 400th career win. Liberty's 26 points allowed were tied for the second fewest given up in a game in program history, while the Flames dished out 34 assists.
- Zander Yates scored a career-high 23 points for Liberty last year against St. Andrews, sinking 6-of-7 three-point attempts, while Brody Peebles matched Yates with 23 points, hitting five triples.
- Liberty, in the middle of a seven-game homestand, its longest since the 1985-86 season, hosts St. Andrews on Tuesday. The Knights (1-7) lost 79-62 to Milligan at home on Monday before heading to Lynchburg.
