• Liberty enters Wednesday contest on an 11-game winning streak. The streak is a new NCAA Division I record for the Flames. It is the second longest winning streak in school history.
• Liberty swept a home-and-home series with VCU over the weekend. The Flames won 3-2 in Lynchburg on Saturday and 6-1 in Richmond on Sunday.
• The Flames are 7-0 at home in 2021. Liberty has posted a 42-7 record at Worthington Field at Liberty Baseball Stadium over the past three seasons.
• Liberty and Virginia will be meeting in the first of two games this season on Wednesday. The Flames will face the Cavaliers in Charlottesville on April 27. The two teams were not able to meet last season and split a pair of games in 2019.
• Liberty head coach Scott Jackson is in his fifth season. He has led the Flames to a 130-82 record and a NCAA Regional appearance during his tenure.

- C Gray Betts enters the week having reached base safely in seven straight games. It is the longest such streak of the season for the catcher. He also has a four-game hitting streak. He is tied for the team-lead in runs scored with 13.
- 1B Logan Mathieu is tied for the team lead with 13 runs scored. He also leads the team in home runs with four.
- 2B Will Wagner has hit .361 and has eight RBI over the last 10 games. He has reached base in eight consecutive games, tying three others for the longest this season.
- SS Cam Locklear had two hits, a double and a two-run single, in the Flames' 8-4 win over North Carolina on March 16. He has at least one hit in each of the last three contests.
- 3B Trey McDyre has hit .381 with seven RBI and scoring eight runs over his last seven games. He enters the week having reached base in consecutive games, tying him with three others for the longest of the season.
- LF Aaron Anderson has hit .350 with seven doubles and 11 RBI over his last 10 games. On Saturday, his second hit of the game, a double, gave Liberty a 3-2 walk-off win over VCU. He leads the Flames with a .319 batting average and 13 RBI. With nine doubles, he is second in the ASUN and sixth nationally in two-base hits.
- CF Jaylen Guy lead the Flames with seven stolen bases. Currently, he is second in the ASUN Conference in stolen bases.
- RF Jake Wilson had his eight-game reached base streak come to an end on Sunday. Since taking over in the right field, he has hit .300 with eight RBI and seven runs scored.
- RP On Sunday, right-hander reliever Fraser Ellard struck out six of the seven VCU Rams he faced in 1 1/3 scoreless innnings of work. Ellard six strikeouts were part of the Flames season-high 17.
- RP On Saturday, Landon Riley record his first victory of the season in Liberty's 3-2 win over VCU. Riley enters the week leading the ASUN Conference and is 12th nationally with four saves. The right-hander earned his fourth save of the season with 1 1/3 scoreless innings to close out Liberty's win over North Carolina on March 16.
- RP David Erickson picked up the win in Liberty's victory over North Carolina to run his record to 4-0 on March 16. The right-hander recorded the victory in both of the Flames' wins against the Tar Heels. Erickson leads the Flames in appearances (9) and ERA (1.86) and strikeouts (24), entering the week.
