Thoughts from Head Coach Ritchie McKay
"I am proud about how selfless our guys played on both ends of the floor, especially offensively. Twenty-two assists on 29 baskets is a reflection of the kind of young men we have in our program, and I don’t know if there is a bigger testament to that then Kyle Rode not starting, playing a season low 15 minutes, that is the least amount he has probably played since the Lipscomb ASUN Championship game and you wouldn’t have ever known it. I told our guys we could start a variety of people; eight or nine guys and it was Kyle’s turn, but I thought his attitude is characteristic of the kind of program that we want to continue to grow.”
