Track & Field Update with Racanelli

As the Liberty men's indoor track & field team prepares to begin its 2016 season, junior sprinter Stephen Racanelli chatted with Nick Pierce of the Liberty Flames Sports Network.
A team captain, Racanelli won three Big South titles in 2015, including the indoor 200 and 400 and the outdoor 400. He is slated to run the 60, 400 and 4 x 400 relay on Saturday.
The second annual Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational will be contested today and tomorrow at the Tolsma Indoor Track Center. Today's events begin at 2 p.m., while tomorrow's full day of action will commence at 9 a.m.
The meet is named in honor of Racanelli's former teammate Darius Dixon, who was tragically killed in a car accident on Dec. 7, 2013.
