Baseball Sets Fall Super Regional

The Liberty Baseball team will finish the fall segment of its team practice with a three-game Super-Regional series starting October 23 and completing on October 25.
Games are scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. on Oct. 23 and 3 p.m. on Oct. 24 and 25. All games will be 7 innings and the public will be admitted free of charge.
The Flames are coming off a record-setting 2009 season which saw the team win a school-record 42 games and a school-record 19 Big South Conference wins. Local standout Steven Evans of Amherst and Blake Forslund of Rustburg will open the three-game series on Oct. 23 as opposing pitchers for the contest.
